Kethup House

Once their was a thirty year old woman. She was married to a very wealthy man! The womans name was Telly. Telly was painting her house but she wanted it to smell like ketup! Why? Becuse she was addicted to ketup!

Her husbend said, “Thats a baaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea!”

Telly didn’t listen to him. Telly asked the men if they could paint her house so that it would smell like ketchup. They said, “We’ll try.”

The men were lazy, so they painted her house with actual kethup! When Telly got home and saw and snifed she said, “briliant!!!”

Winter came and all the bugs and pests ate all the kethup of Telly’s house! The next morning, Telly went out to snif and see her house. Telly sniffed. She smelled bug spit. She opened her eyes. She scremed! Her house was gray again. She cried, “The paint is gone!” Telly didn’t know that the men painted her house in ketchup!

Then she realized what the men did! She learned her leson! So she painted her house red all by herself. It didn’t smell kethup! The end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rain’s Art

One sunny sun down Nina and Laura were drawing with chalk. They were making a masterpiece! But then it was time for bed. The next morning, Nina jumped out of bed. She tried to wake Laura, but Laura just kept sleeping. So Nina went downstairs to watch some television. An hour later, Laura woke up and they went outside to finish their masterpiece!

A week later, it started to rain.  But this just turned the picture more beautiful!

Nina said, “It looks lovely!”

She was right. It was lighter, but it was lovely! Laura was shocked. It was so beautiful.

It started to rain again. It rained and rained and rained and it all washed…………………away.

Nina and Laura can’t wait to make rain art again.

So then, when we were packing up to leave, people pulled up to our campsite. We asked them, “Is this your dog?”

They said, “Yes! Thank you for finding her!”

We said, “You’re welcome!”

I learned that it is nice to help people find their lost dog. We really wanted to keep her, but we couldn’t, because she belonged to someone else. It felt good to give her back.

The End!

After we found the salamanders, we got lost down in the ravine! We walked all around in a big circle. Then we got back to our campsite. When we got there, we found a little dog who was lost. We walked around and asked everyone if the dog belonged to them. Everyone said no!

Last summer I went camping with our friends the Toneys and the Jungs at Sprague Brook Park. There is a big, green pine tree that the kids there like to climb. My mommy got scared of us climbing too high! But we weren’t scared!

There was also a forest there where we found salamanders.
